Steve McKinstry impressed in the 8-3 Maine win over Chicago. McKinstry, who led the AC in home runs with 48 in 2019, belted 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice. The winner was Matt Graham, who threw 113 pitches over 7 innings. The left-hander was charged with no runs on 6 hits. With the win, Maine pushed its record to 91-57.

With Maine leading 2-0 in the top of the third, McKinstry hit a forkball from Josh Wilkes for a 3-run home run. It was his 30th home run of the season and put the Pines ahead, 5-0.

"Our goal is to improve each and every day," McKinstry told the Maine Today.
