Getting offensive support from Josh Law, the San Diego Fleet topped the Hollywood Stars, 11-2. Law went 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He scored 3 times and drove in 3 for the Fleet. With the win, San Diego raised its record to 85-56.

Jon Pitts had a big 2-run triple for the Fleet in the top of the fifth inning. With San Diego leading 4-2 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from 32-year old right-handed pitcher Isaiah Robinson and swatted a triple to right-center. It was his 8th triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Fleet ahead, 6-2.

"I thought we played a nice game," Pitts told the San Diego Citizen. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
