With Late Score, Gangsters Beat Sea Dogs
The Chicago Gangsters topped the Charleston Sea Dogs, 4-3, in American Conference action at Ballpark of Charleston. The standout performance belonged to Chicago pitcher and Lewisville, Texas, native Sam Palacios. The save went to Keith Kramer, number 11 for him. The victory puts Chicago at 20-36.

Chicago used a timely hit from Brandon Titus to get the win. The pinch hitter stroked a 2-run double in the top of the eighth inning to put the Gangsters ahead, 4-3. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a difference-maker.

"We made a couple of mistakes," said Charleston skipper Chad Hart, "and it cost us."
