|
The Dallas Dragons picked up a win at Tennant Healthcare Ballpark, dropping the Maine Pines, 6-4. Adrian Huffine, who finished 3rd in the AC in strikeouts with 261 in 2016, was the difference-maker. Huffine got the win, improving to 4-10. He gave up 4 hits and walked 3 over 6 innings. He allowed 3 runs. Mike Braasch was credited with the save for Dallas, his 25th of the season.
Joe Robinson, who leads the AC in doubles with 45, aided the Dallas cause with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the center fielder went 2 for 3 with 2 doubles, while scoring 2 runs.
Huffine called it "a solid win."
The victory gives Dallas a record of 73-62.
