The rain came, as predicted, but the Dallas Dragons and Toronto Trash Pandas were able to complete their ballgame.

The Dallas Dragons defeated the Toronto Trash Pandas, 10-5. Doing his part was third baseman Carlos Rodriguez, who was 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Jonathan Allen, who is tied for 5th in the AC in strikeouts with 185, was the winner. He's now 6-14. The loser was Winston Caballero.

Early in the game, Rodriguez had a solo home run for Dallas. It was his 14th home run of the season and put the Dragons on top, 1-0.

"We came out aggressive," said Dragons manager Edgar Puente. "We came out swinging the bats."

The Dragons are now 72-62, while the Trash Pandas fall to 68-66.
