The Hollywood Stars trumped the Fountain Hills 23ers, 12-5, at Hollywood Grounds. Hollywood first baseman Eric Daniel was terrific. He went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4. Adrian Huffine, the winner, goes to 4-3. He allowed 3 runs on 6 hits, with 2 walks and 9 strikeouts over 6.1 innings. The second-place 23ers have lost 5 straight games.
