Desperados Walk It Off for 65th Win of Season

The Austin Desperados beat the Indianapolis Eagles, 4-1. Austin pitcher and Ft. Worth, Texas, native Matt Parsons led the way. With this game in the books, Austin is 65-68, Indianapolis 72-61.
Austin got a game-changing hit from Ruben Alamo. The shortstop blasted a 3-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a winner.
Alamo told a Austin Times reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
