Nightmare Lose to Fire, 2-0
James Dobyns, who is tied for 8th in the NC in quality starts with 7, was terrific for the San Francisco Fire in his team's 2-0 triumph over the New York Nightmare. His performance earned Dobyns rave reviews. Adam Holland wrapped it up, recording his 15th save. New York has now lost 4 consecutive games.

The Fire picked up the win with a combination of good hitting and good pitching.

"The only difference is executing pitches and not executing pitches," said Dobyns. "When you don't execute, you get beat. When you execute, you usually give your team a chance to win."
