Scorpions Win Nail-Biter in 10
The Syracuse Scorpions did just enough to secure a victory over the Daytona Beach Sea Turtles, 3-2, in 10 innings at Scorpion Stadium. Nobody did more than pitcher Juan Rosales. Syracuse pitcher Ken Allbaugh got the win, upping his record to 6-4. David Rogers got the loss. The last-place Sea Turtles have dropped 4 straight games.

The climactic moment came in the bottom of the tenth for Syracuse. That's when Chris Guardiola, who is tied for 8th in the AC in doubles with 35, hit a 3-run home run off David Rogers to win the game. The home crowd erupted in celebration.

"What a great win for our team," said a jubilant Josh Gifford, the Syracuse manager.
