Toronto got a terrific performance from pitcher Victor Figueroa, but it wasn't enough to beat the Dallas Dragons. Dallas won the Tennant Healthcare Ballpark contest, 3-2. Figueroa threw 7.0 innings of 3-hit ball for the losing team. Toronto has now lost 6 in a row.

Corey Young drew 1 walk for Dallas. With one out and the game tied in the bottom of the eighth inning, Young, who finished 5th in the NC in doubles with 44 in 2011, had a clutch at-bat. Facing Toronto hurler Ryan Arntz, he hit a sacrifice fly to give the Dragons a 3-2 lead.

"We made a couple of mistakes," said Toronto skipper Mike Cervantes, "and it cost us."
