The Toronto Trash Pandas withstood a fine game by Dallas right fielder Akihide Sera at Tennant Healthcare Ballpark, to upend the Dragons, 7-5. Sera went 2-3 with a double and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The Trash Pandas move to 28-26 with the win, while the Dragons drop to 29-25.

The result might have been different, had it not been for 27-year old third baseman Keagan Deming. Deming had a run-scoring double in the top of the ninth inning to put the Trash Pandas ahead, 6-5. For the game, Deming had 1 double and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"We'll take some time to unwind," said Deming, "and then get after it again."
