Alec Stanley made an impact in the 6-4 Hollywood win over Detroit. Stanley, who finished 4th in the NC in triples with 8 in 2022, was 2 for 5 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. The win was credited to 25-year old left-handed pitcher Jason Hollenbeck in relief. His record improves to 3-4. Lee Maher took the loss. Had Stanley not come through in the top of the tenth, who knows how the game would've ended? But with two down, Stanley hit a 2-run single. The Stars took the lead, 6-4, and never looked back.
