The Dallas Dragons faced a tough opponent in Halifax pitcher Dan Fischer, but found a way to pull out the victory at Estadio Azteca by a final score of 6-2 in 11 innings. Fischer went 6.1 innings and allowed 2 runs. Dallas pitcher Mike Braasch earned the win, hiking his record to 2-1. Jeff Buck suffered the loss. Nick Kirshner closed it out for Dallas, earning his 2nd save.

It could have been a different outcome for Dallas, had it not been for Carlos Rodriguez, the 27-year old right fielder . Rodriguez contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the 11th inning to put Dallas up, 3-2.

In postgame comments, Rodriguez said, "I think we gave the fans their money's worth."

The Dragons lead the American Conference South Division by 2 games.
