The Syracuse Scorpions converted a terrific effort from starter John Froerer into a win over the Dallas Dragons at Scorpion Stadium. The Scorpions won the game by a final score of 6-2. Froerer got the win, improving to 6-2. He gave up 6 hits and walked 2 over 7.2 innings. He allowed 2 runs. Syracuse goes to 27-22, Dallas to 27-22.

Chris Service, who is tied for 7th in the AC with a .385 on-base percentage, helped out the Syracuse cause in the bottom of the second inning with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. For the game, the left fielder drew 1 walk.
