Mexico City designated hitter Corey Cawley helped his team beat the Maine Pines, 9-3. Cawley went 4 for 5 for the Aztecs. The Aztecs lead the National Conference West Division by 6 games.

In the bottom of the third, Cawley had a 2-run double for Mexico City. It was his 7th double of the season and put the Aztecs on top, 2-0.

"Winning is the only thing that really matters," Cawley told the Mexico City Bulletin. "If you can win without even breaking a sweat, more power to you."
