The San Francisco Fire powered past the Toronto Trash Pandas, 9-3, at Trash Panda Field. Dean Brum provided some of the pop. He went 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. Pat Daughtry picked up the win, improving his season record to 5-2. He struck out 6 in 6 innings. The last-place Trash Pandas dropped to 23-24.

With San Francisco leading 3-2 in the top of the sixth, Brum batted against Toronto pitcher Jason Strobel. Brum hit a fastball to left-center for a 3-run home run. His 1st home run of the season put the Fire on top, 6-2.
