Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Boston Whistlers and Dallas Dragons.

The Boston Whistlers wiggled past the Dallas Dragons, 4-3, at Whislters Park. The win was highlighted by the performance of Boston pitcher Jay Helm. Jeremy Carter, now 1-0, was credited with the win in 0.1 innings of relief. He allowed no runs on no hits, while striking out 0 and walking 0.

The decisive blow was delivered by Carlos Herrera in the bottom of the 12th when he hit a solo home run off 27-year old right-handed pitcher Nick Kirshner to win the game for Boston. The home crowd went nuts.

"We took home the win," said Herrera. "What's not to like?"

Boston is now 23-23, while Dallas is 26-20.
