The Cincinnati Royals topped the San Diego Fleet, 12-2, in National Conference action at The Castle. The game was highlighted by the performance of Cincinnati pitcher Colin Lambert. Cincinnati is second in the National Conference North East Division with a record of 28-17.

Early in the game, catcher Mike Rankin had a run-scoring double for Cincinnati. It was his 7th double of the season and put the Royals on top, 1-0.

"We take it day by day here," said Lambert, "and today was a good one for us."
