Extra-Inning Win by Stars Over Pines
The Hollywood Stars faced a tough opponent in Maine pitcher Nick Slover, but still scratched out a win at Oakhurst Field by a final score of 6-3 in 14 innings. Slover went 5 innings and allowed no runs. The Stars improved their record to 17-28 by beating Maine.

Elijah Moody went 1 for 6 for Hollywood. With one out and the game tied in the top of the 14th inning, Moody, who finished 4th in the NC in runs with 114 in 2022, had a clutch at-bat. Facing Maine hurler Mike Poussard, he hit a sacrifice fly to give the Stars a 4-3 lead.
