Negron Goes Deep Twice in 9-4 Pines Win
A 6-RBI performance from the 23-year old right fielder Julio Negron helped the Maine Pines beat the San Francisco Fire, 9-4. The National Conference North East Division-leading Pines have a record of 30-15.

With Maine leading 6-1 in the bottom of the seventh, Negron came up to bat against San Francisco pitcher Scott Hargraves. Negron hit a cutter to right for a 3-run home run. His 9th home run of the season put the Pines on top, 9-1.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Negron.
