Alcorn Excels in 11-6 Maine Win
Josh Alcorn, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2021 draft, led Maine to a triumph over Hollywood. The final score was 11-6. The third baseman went 3 for 5, falling a triple shy of the cycle. He scored 3 runs and added 3 RBI. The winner was Maine reliever Matt Haselden, now 2-0. The loser was Chris Phillips. Picking up his 9th save was 23-year old left-handed pitcher Nick Slover.

First Baseman Pete Roan made an impact for Maine, when he swatted a 2-run home run off Chris Phillips in the bottom of the third. For the contest, Roan went 1-5 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
