Extra-Inning Walk-Off Win for 23ers
The Fountain Hills 23ers had to overcome a big game from Daytona Beach right fielder Russ Reinertsen to leave Fountain Park with a victory. And they did, winning, 7-6, in 10 innings. Reinertsen went 2 for 4 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. After today's action, Fountain Hills sits at 20-23, while Daytona Beach falls to 17-26.

The 23ers nabbed the win, in part because of first baseman Chris Dietel. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered the game-winning run-scoring single.

"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Fountain Hills manager Efren Nieman.
