Shiners Lose to Marauders in Walk-Off
The Philadelphia Marauders faced a tough opponent in Charleston pitcher David Edgemon, but still scratched out a win at Marauders Ballpark by a final score of 7-6 in 14 innings. Edgemon went 6.1 innings and allowed no runs. Philadelphia reliever Justin Erim picked up the win, upping his record to 3-1. Brian Aldridge took the loss. The Marauders have now reeled off 7 straight wins.

The defining moment came in the bottom of the 14th for Philadelphia. That's when Johnny McCargar hit a run-scoring double off 23-year old right-handed pitcher Brian Aldridge to win the game. The home crowd went wild.

"The ending was a real humdinger," McCargar told reporters after the game.
