The Dallas Dragons defeated the Tampa Bay Captains, 5-4, in American Conference action at Tennant Healthcare Ballpark. Dallas pitcher Adrian Huffine had a standout performance. By defeating Tampa Bay, the last-place Dragons improved to 20-23.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Dallas second baseman Chris Bryan, facing Matthew Gayheart, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Dragons the 5-4 win.
"My job is to go out and execute," said Huffine.
