The Vancouver Mounties were defeated, 4-3, by the Maine Pines at Hannaford Dome, even though Ryan Heyer pitched well for Vancouver. Dan Mills, who is a two-time All-Star, earned the save for Maine. Maine has now won 3 straight, while the Mounties have lost 3 in a row.

Kevin Cremo chipped in for Maine, stroking a crucial run-scoring single in the bottom of the eighth inning. For the game, the third baseman went 1-3.

"I like the vibe in the clubhouse after a win," said Cremo. "It sure beats the alternative."
