Scorpions Rally to Win
The Syracuse Scorpions faced a tough opponent in Halifax pitcher Jack Ivory, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Estadio Azteca by a final score of 5-4 in 10 innings. Ivory went 6.1 innings and allowed 3 runs. Syracuse has now won 3 in a row.

The game was at a stalemate until third baseman Guillermo Ramos came to bat in the top of the eighth. Facing Halifax pitcher Brian Kauppinen, he hit a 0-1 fastball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Syracuse on top, 4-3.

In postgame comments, Ramos said he was glad to contribute to an exciting win.
