Kearney Helps Scorpions Beat Sea Turtles, 7-3
Scorpion Stadium was the site for American Conference action featuring the Daytona Beach Sea Turtles and Syracuse Scorpions.

The Syracuse Scorpions beat the Daytona Beach Sea Turtles, 7-3, at Scorpion Stadium. Casey Kearney, in particular, was impressive. He was 4-5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. The first-place Scorpions have a one-game lead in their division.

Syracuse took a 6-2 lead on Kearney's 3rd home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which he hit off Christian Chervenka in the bottom of the sixth, propelled Syracuse to the win.

Kearney attributed the win to "everyone pulling their weight."
