Whistlers Rally Late to Clip Dallas
Good production from shortstop Evan Stowe helped the Boston Whistlers topple the Dallas Dragons, 11-10. Stowe was 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Whistlers. Boston reliever Dusty Thomas picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. Mike Braasch was saddled with the loss. At 23-14, Boston is in first place in the American Conference Central Division.

The most important at-bat for Boston came in the top of the ninth inning. With two out, Carlos Herrera reached on an error by the 2B, driving in 1 run, putting Boston up, 11-10.

"It's nice to come out on top today," said Herrera.
