Hollywood and Toronto duked it out and the Stars came out victorious.

The Hollywood Stars downed the Toronto Trash Pandas, 4-1, at Hollywood Grounds. Stellar pitching by Jason Hollenbeck had a lot to do with it. The left-hander, who is tied for 9th in the NC with a 10.8 K/9 rate, handcuffed his opponent all game. Hollenbeck picked up the win for Hollywood, going 5.1 innings. He gave up 1 run on 3 hits. He now sports a record of 3-2. Nick Calvache nailed down the save.

Carlos Miranda cracked a home run off Jesus Fernandez in the bottom of the first. His 2-run blast put the Stars on top, 2-1. In all, Miranda had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.

"I thought Jason threw the ball well across the board," said Hollywood manager Sean Simmers.
