Carolina Reapers starter Tony Casablanca pitched a strong game against the Philadelphia Marauders at Marauders Ballpark, leading the Reapers to victory, 7-5. Picking up the save was John Salgado, his 7th. The winning streak has now reached 5 games for the Reapers.

The Marauders had been locked in a 2-2 tie with the Reapers going into the top of the sixth inning. That changed quickly when the 31-year old left fielder Moises Reyes came to the plate. Reyes hit a solo home run on a 2-2 splitter from Philadelphia hurler Xavier Cooper. It was Reyes's 6th home run of the year.

"It was a good night for them and a bad night for us," said Philadelphia manager Danny Ordaz.
