Toronto Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
|
The Toronto Trash Pandas knocked off the Hollywood Stars, 3-2, in National Conference action at Trash Panda Field. Toronto pitcher and Coppell, Texas, native Ryan Arntz had an outstanding performance. The Trash Pandas have now won 5 straight.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the 14th inning, when Toronto center fielder Heath Graves, facing Jason Hollenbeck, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Trash Pandas the 3-2 win.
"Baseball is such a beautiful game," said Graves. "Anything can happen on any night, and that's why you don't dwell on what happened yesterday. Just look forward and trust you're going to have positive results."
