Eagles Rally For 4-2 Win
The Indianapolis Eagles topped the Detroit Giants, 4-2, in National Conference action at Ballpark of Detroit. The game was highlighted by the performance of Indianapolis pitcher John Hennig. The win puts the Eagles at 22-12, while the Giants drop to 22-12.

Indianapolis won the game in part because of Jerry Robinson. The right fielder ripped a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Eagles ahead, 4-2. For the game, Robinson had 1 double and 1 home run in 4 at-bats.

Robinson said his team "played with determination."
