With Late Score, Sea Turtles Beat Dragons
Dallas right fielder Carlos Rodriguez had a good game, even if his team did not. The Dragons dropped a 6-5 decision to Daytona Beach at Tennant Healthcare Ballpark. Rodriguez was 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The win went to Brian Hennick in relief, making him now 1-0. Mike Braasch took the loss for Dallas. The Sea Turtles now have a record of 12-21 with the win over Dallas.

Daytona Beach relied on the bat of Jordan Thompson to get the win. The designated hitter produced a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Sea Turtles ahead, 6-5. For the game, Thompson had 1 double and 1 home run in 4 at-bats.

"We need to string a few more wins like this one together," said Thompson.
