Toronto center fielder Heath Graves helped his team beat the New York Nightmare, 8-5. Graves, who finished 3rd in the NC in doubles with 52 in 2024, went 3 for 3 for the Trash Pandas. Toronto reliever Cory Gregerson snagged the win, upping his record to 1-0. Dana Walker shouldered the loss. Toronto now has a record of 22-11 with the win.

In the bottom of the eighth, Toronto first baseman Phil Tibbits put his team on top. With one out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he hit his 6th double of the year. New York pitcher Dana Walker served it up. Just like that, the Trash Pandas were ahead, 5-4.

"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Tibbits.
