Daytona Beach parlayed a decent outing from starter Mark Dudley into a solid win over the Dallas Dragons. The final score was 8-3. Daytona Beach reliever Egor Patyka picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Pat DeChant was saddled with the loss. With the loss, Dallas is 22-10.

Daytona Beach used the clutch hitting of Chris Wagner to snag the win. The catcher drilled a grand slam home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Sea Turtles ahead, 8-3. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a crucial one.

"We need to keep playing good baseball," Dudley told the Daytona Beach Observer.
