Sea Dogs Rally to Eke Out Win
Behind a fine performance from Nick Wisniewski, the Charleston Sea Dogs knocked off the Halifax Heathens, 4-3. Wisniewski went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Sea Dogs. Jon Reynolds claimed the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 3 innings. His record stands at 1-2. The Heathens drop to 15-17 and continue their inconsistent start to the 2025 season.

The game was all tied up in the top of the 11th, until Wisniewski delivered big-time for Charleston, stroking a dramatic run-scoring single off Jose Ojeda. The game-changing hit put the Sea Dogs on top, 4-3.

"If you want to be considered a good team, these are the kind of games you have to win," said Charleston manager Chad Hart.
