Dragons Deal Reapers 5-3 Defeat
|
Getting offensive support from Jason Bloom, the Dallas Dragons topped the Carolina Reapers, 5-3. Bloom was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for the Dragons. Adam Holland closed the door for Dallas, picking up his 7th save of the year. The defeat makes Carolina 16-15.
Bloom had a game-changing home run in the top of the sixth. On a 0-2 cutter from Jeff Horn, he banged a 2-run home run to right-center, giving the Dragons a 5-3 lead. It was the 1st home run of the year for Bloom.
"It's nice to step up when your team needs you," said Bloom.
