Indianapolis defeated Fountain Hills, 10-3, in large part due to 23-year old right fielder Tony Bradshaw. Bradshaw drove in 3 runs. The right fielder had 1 double and 1 home run for the Eagles. Tim Sindt, the winner, is now 1-3. He struck out 5 and walked 3 over 7.1 innings, while allowing 3 runs on 5 hits. The loss lowers the Fountain Hills record to 19-11.

The Eagles got a lift from shortstop Dustin Andrews, who in the top of the second stroked a 0-2 changeup to right for a 2-run single. It was his 7th hit of the season and put the Eagles ahead, 2-0.

"It's not about individual awards," Andrews told a Indianapolis Observer reporter after the game. "It's about winning championships. That's what we play for."
