Chris Beasley had a big solo home run for the Dragons in the top of the sixth inning. With Dallas leading 2-0 and the bases empty, he got a fastball from Cory Gregerson and swatted a home run to center. It was his 9th home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Dragons ahead, 3-0.

"You have to win 1-0, 3-2, 2-1 games if you want to get to where you want to go," said Dragons manager Edgar Puente.

The Reapers fall to 11-18 and continue their sub-.500 start to the 2023 season.
