Scorpions Suffer 7-5 Road Loss
Despite a great performance by Syracuse shortstop Guillermo Ramos, the Indianapolis Eagles defeated the Scorpions by the score of 7-5 at Eagles Stadium. Ramos went 2 for 4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Indianapolis reliever Nick Horrocks picked up the win, upping his record to 1-2. Matt Simpson took the loss. The save went to James Gibson, his 2nd this season.

Indianapolis took a 7-5 lead on Jerry Robinson's 5th home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which Robinson hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Syracuse pitcher Mike Kelley visibly frustrated.

"We've got a great group of guys," Robinson said, "and we're having fun right now."

Syracuse, with the loss, is 13-13.
