Marauders Raise Rally Flag, Beat Fountain Hills, 7-4
|
The Philadelphia Marauders faced a tough opponent in Fountain Hills pitcher Albert Fabian, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Marauders Ballpark by a final score of 7-4. Fabian went 6 innings and allowed no runs. For Fountain Hills, now 16-8, wins have been plentiful, losses few.
Philadelphia took a 7-4 lead on Manuel Rosas's 6th double of the season. The bases-clearing double, which Rosas hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Fountain Hills pitcher Stuart Taylor visibly frustrated.
"I just try to go out and give it 100 percent every game," Rosas told a local reporter after the game. "That's my mantra, and like today, it will pay off more often than not."
