The Cincinnati Royals beat the Indianapolis Eagles, 2-1. Cincinnati pitcher and Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, native Miguel Leon led the way. The winning pitcher was Leon, now 1-2. He tossed 6.1 innings of 4-hit ball, while walking 1 and fanning 10. With the win, Cincinnati goes to 11-13.

Heath Sherlock cracked a home run off Tim Sindt in the top of the third. His solo blast put the Royals on top, 2-1. In all, Sherlock had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.

"When Miguel is on, he can really move the ball around," said Cincinnati manager Justin Aaron.
