Dragons Use Late Rally to Win
Halifax wasted an exceptional performance by pitcher Jack Ivory, falling to the Dallas Dragons, 5-2. Ivory threw 7.0 innings of 3-hit ball for the losing team. Dallas reliever Adam Holland snagged the win, upping his record to 2-2. Ross Lefkowitz shouldered the loss. Mike Braasch earned the save for Dallas, his 3rd.

The game was at a stalemate until first baseman Carlos Rodriguez came to bat in the bottom of the eighth. Facing Halifax pitcher Ross Lefkowitz, he hit a 1-0 fastball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Dallas on top, 3-2.

Rodriguez said his team "played with determination."

The Dragons, now 17-5, have been on a roll in the early going.
