Oakhurst Field was the site of a tense game between the New York Nightmare and Maine Pines.

In a low-scoring affair between the Maine Pines and the New York Nightmare, pitcher Justin Jemison was the difference between victory and defeat. The Maine right-hander earned accolades for his stellar performance in the 3-2 Pines win. The Pines, now 14-7, have been red hot.

The climactic moment came in the bottom of the ninth for Maine. That's when Josh Alcorn, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2021 draft, hit a 2-run home run off Jeff Groves to win the game. The home crowd erupted in celebration.

"This place was electric at the end," Jemison said.
