Stars Win with Late Rally
The Hollywood Stars found a way to sneak past the Chicago Gangsters, 5-4, in 10 innings. Hollywood second baseman Paul Ainsworth, for one, had a standout performance. Pat Eisen was the winner in relief. His record is now 2-0. The losing pitcher was Keith Kramer. The Gangsters fall to 6-15 and continue their unimpressive start to the 2026 season.

The Stars got a clutch hit from left fielder John Beck. In the bottom of the tenth, he hit a run-scoring single to center, to win the game for the Stars.

In postgame remarks, Ainsworth said: "I'm proud of our guys, of their fight."
