Chicago Loses, 7-5, to Hollywood in 11
|
The timely hitting of Paul Franceschini helped the Hollywood Stars take down the Chicago Gangsters, 7-5, in 11 innings. Franceschini was 3-5 with a home run and a double for the Stars. The victory makes Hollywood 7-12.
Hollywood took advantage of an error in the top of the 11th inning. The game was tied, 5-5, when Eric Daniel hit a 2-run single that was misplayed. It put the Stars in front, 7-5.
"The fans pay the tickets and help us do what we do, so we like to put on a show for them," Daniel told the Hollywood Today.
