Hollywood starter Scott Johnson pitched well against the Dallas Dragons at Tennant Healthcare Ballpark. The right-hander led his team to a win, 7-6, in 12 innings. Jason Hollenbeck picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Adam Holland suffered the loss. The Dragons, now 6-10, continue their sluggish start.

The result might have been different, had it not been for slick-fielding second baseman Paul Ainsworth. Ainsworth had a run-scoring single in the top of the 12th inning to put the Stars ahead, 7-6. For the game, Ainsworth had 1 double and 1 single in 6 at-bats.

"Our team showed some gumption," said Ainsworth. "I like it."
