San Diego registered a win at Peter Seidler Memorial Stadium by beating the Dallas Dragons, 5-3. Pitcher Rodrigo Lemus was one reason why the Fleet triumphed. The loss puts Dallas at 12-4.

The Dragons had been locked in a 2-2 tie with the Fleet going into the bottom of the sixth inning. That changed quickly when the 24-year old center fielder Ed Woodside came to the plate. Woodside hit a 3-run home run on a full count fastball from Dallas hurler Adam Holland. It was Woodside's 2nd home run of the year.

"Nice to tuck this win away," said Woodside.
