Whistlers Get Win, Hope to Turn Around Slow Start
The Boston Whistlers and Syracuse Scorpions lit up the scoreboard.

In a high-scoring game between Boston and Syracuse, third baseman Jeff Beeson was a difference-maker. The 28-year-old helped Boston grab the 10-8 win. He was 3-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Boston pitcher Matthew Rowlands got the win. He's now 1-0. Juan Rosales was tagged with the loss. Josh Becker closed the game out for Boston, earning his 1st save.
