Reapers Take Tight Tangle
|
Carolina Reapers starter Jake Triplett found his groove in his team's 4-3 win over the San Francisco Fire. Vinny Narvaez notched the win in relief. The left-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 2 innings. His record now sits at 1-0. Carolina goes to 2-0 with the win.
The Reapers got a clutch hit from shortstop Jose Lazaro. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Reapers.
"This place went bonkers at the end," Lazaro said.
