Plascencia Leads Eagles to Win
Good production from designated hitter Ricky Plascencia helped the Indianapolis Eagles topple the Carolina Reapers, 8-0. Plascencia went 3 for 3 with a home run, 2 singles, and 2 walks, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Eagles. Jerry Bowman, the winning pitcher, improved to 1-0. He pitched 7.1 innings, giving up 4 hits and no runs, while striking out 7 and walking 1. The defeat makes Carolina 7-4.
