Caribou Earn 4-3 Win Versus Dragons
|
Vancouver Caribou starter Nick Douglass found his groove in his team's 4-3 win over the Dallas Dragons. Vancouver reliever Joel Edmondson was the winner. His record is now 1-0. Adam Holland took the loss. Tom Thompson picked up the save for Vancouver, his 3rd of the year.
Vancouver took the lead, 4-3, on Brian Massey's 2nd home run of the season. The 3-run home run came off Dallas pitcher Adam Holland in the bottom of the eighth.
"Nick was doing a good job pouring in strikes," said Vancouver manager Pete Clark.
Dallas, with the loss, is still a robust 8-3.
